Cornell Fellows along with Terry Tucker & Company were traveling through Happy Valley in route to Ag Progress Days today, August 19, 2009. During their visit, they stopped by for breakfast with the PSU Humphrey Fellows. Everyone had a great time and look forward to meeting again soon.

Niagara Falls Trip with the new fellows. Since all the fellows are living at White Course, we made the annual trip early. The weather was great! Everyone except Edward made the trip in a PSU 15 passenger van. We look forward to our next trip with the whole group!

Two Day Retreat, August 12-14 ~ Niagara Falls, N.Y.




Get ready to pack your bags for a two day retreat in Niagara Falls, N.Y. If everyone arrives on time, we will depart on August 12 for the falls. Upon your arrival on August 10, you will begin a two week orientation that include getting you moved into your apartments, banking, shopping, computer access and ids as well as the following week which includes team building activities and introductions to faculty and staff around the College of Education. The second week also includes library tours and database sessions, outreach program resources, health services and numerous campus tours. It is a very busy two weeks so please prepare to bring comfortable shoes.

Arrival Day Photos




If you have not received your award packet, please do not worry.
Humphrey Fellows arriving for pre-academic receive their packets first, fellows arriving on their host campus will receive their award packets next, PSU Humphrey fellows will receive their packets according to your arrival date which is mid August. If you have not received your packet by the mid July, please contact the U.S. Embassy in your country. You can write to us if you have questions about this process. Your travel arrangements will be made by your U.S. Embassy, Fulbright Office. Please DO NOT make any travel arrangements on YOUR own. Travel arrangements will be made after your J-1 visa has been approved for your Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship. Start Packing! It is only 42 days until you arrive.

Showcase for Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program


Our showcase is located in Chambers Bldg. ~ the hub where many students pass by during their classes. Please bring something along with you to display during the academic year to share with others that represents your country or your work back home.
