Lock Haven University site visit

International Week begins early at Lock Haven University. LHU provided the fellows with a very informative visit on November 13, 2009.

On the road by 7 AM, for a full day site visit at PDE! Based on the background of the fellows, PDE provided brief introductions to Post Secondary Educations, School Improvement, Educational Leadership, Special Education and Community Needs. Lunch was "own your own" but after some discussion at our weekly meeting, this will be changed on the next visit....

Humphrey Fellows go to DC

 

After the Global Leadership Forum, the fellows met with Congressman Thompson followed by a tour of the Capitol.
Congressman Thompson admitted to the group that this was the most internationals he had in his office since he took office in January.
